MapBuilder Goes to School!

At Lewis Elementary School 5th grade students are deep into their European Explorers social studies unit. They are using Flickr to post their explorer portraits and reports and MapBuilder.net to create a map that highlights the routes and voyages of their particular explorer.
Here's a master map of all the explorer reports. The master map will include a thumbnail image of the explorer along with a link to the Flickr page with the image and report.

Energy Map shows energy facilities in North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming. Also it provides links to “North Dakota Oil Fields” and “Wyoming Oil Fields and Regional Oil Wells” maps as well.

This is really professional customization of the code generated by MapBuilder.net. I like map legend, custom icons in menu. Map looks impressive.

I would like to prove Google Maps domination using MapBuilder.net statistic. Since Yahoo Maps implementation feature has been added in November 2005 only 12% of user's view source code or preview map created for Yahoo Map API. All other 88% prefer Google.

Swank Miami Hotels

Swank Miami Hotels is a site that specializes in helping people find Swanky cool hotels in the Miami Beach and South Beach Florida areas. Currently the site has about 25 hotel listings, all this high end photography and the ability to book a stay at the hotel online.

Map Builder is providing the Google Mapping interface that plots all the hotels on a local area map. Many people email and call with requests about how close the hotels are to the beach. This solution should help people find the hotel's location themselves.
